- Audio Usage: Microphone access is used exclusively for the real-time AI conversation feature. Audio recordings are processed on-the-fly to generate Santa's responses and are not sold or used for marketing.
- Parental Consent: We encourage parents to supervise their children's use of the app and to use it together as a family activity.

A. Information Provided by Parents
To create a personalized experience, we may ask the parent or guardian to provide:
- Child's First Name or Nickname: Used solely so Santa can address your child personally during the conversation.
- Child's Age: Used to adjust the complexity and themes of Santa's conversation and stories to be age-appropriate.
- Interests & Achievements: Optional details (like a favorite toy or a recent accomplishment) to make the interaction more magical.
Note: We do not require or collect last names, home addresses, or contact information for children.
B. Audio Data
To enable the "Talk to Santa" feature, the app requires access to your device's microphone. Audio data is transmited securely to our processing partners only when you are actively interacting with the character. Audio is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored or used to build a profile of the child beyond the current session.
C. Technical & Usage Data
We may collect non-identifiable technical data such as device type and app usage statistics to help us improve performance and ensure a smooth experience for all families.
D. Conversation Transcripts
To enhance your experience, the app generates and stores a text transcription of your child's conversation with Santa. This allow parents to review the magical moments shared during the session.
E. Authentication Data (Google & Apple)
If you choose to sign in using Google or Apple, we receive certain information from these providers, such as your name, email address, and profile picture. This is used solely to create and manage your account securely. We do not receive or store your third-party account password.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
We may use cookies and similar technologies (like local storage) to provide a better user experience. These are used primarily for:
- Remembering your session and preferences.
- Analyzing app performance and usage trends.
- Ensuring the security of your interactions.

- Provide the core interactive Santa experience.

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your data or your child's data. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers necessary to provide our services, including:
- Voice Synthesis (ElevenLabs): We use ElevenLabs to provide Santa's voice. Text is securely transmitted to ElevenLabs to generate real-time audio. This data is processed as per their privacy standards and is not used for their own marketing.
- Cloud Hosting & AI: We use industry-standard cloud and AI infrastructure (such as OpenAI or similar) to process conversations and store data securely.
- Authentication: Google and Apple facilitate secure login as described in Section 3-E.
All third parties are contractually obligated to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
7. Data Security and Retention
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
- Audio Data: Raw audio data is deleted immediately after the interaction is processed into text and a response is generated.
- Transcripts: We store the text transcripts of conversations so that you can view and revisit them. This data is held until you choose to remove it. You have full control over your conversation history and can delete any transcript at any time within the app.
- Account Data: Other data is retained only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

You have the right to:
- Access the limited information we may have about you or your child.
- Request the deletion of any personal data.
- Opt-out of any non-essential data collection.
